Water has a ph level

Hi

My english writing is not so good so bare with me.
The other day I was at the dentist and I was reading a magazine, if i remember it read something like this,
"Everything living in life has a ph place on the ph scale
1 2 3 4 5 6 (7) 8 9 10 11 12 13 14
1-6.5 acidic
7=neutral....water 7.5-14 alkaline
Our hair and skin is 5.5 anything higher including water will effect our skin and hair. Hair being dry and brittle with a high ph."

Now question
Will someone who has tmau and rinses with water will the water change the ph of the skin and make them smell more.
Scary thought will drinking water make us smell more.. i may be wrong....

I live in, Toronto Canada I noticed in the summer time when it is very hot that our city water that comes out of our tap has a very fishy smell to it. They say that our water is the safest water to drink...thats what they say or what they want us to beleive, so why does it smell funny..... I drink bottled water....safe no .. we all know that is another story!!!

Angel,
Drinking the purest water possible is best. Distilled water is supposed to be safe. Who really knows. However, as far as the ph level of water is concerned, there are ph drops that can be added to water to give it the ideal ph.

Good question. pH of water is about 7.5 and TMA is about 8.5 so you should be safe unless your water is unusually more alkaline. You should be drinking natural spring water anyways though. You can test your water with pH strips.
