Re: Skipped school today...
rohit, you give good wise words.
incog91, I know it's very very difficult to start a new school, not knowing anyone, and to top it all, to have this condition. I would focus more on what rohit is telling you. Sometimes, we are so mentally focussed on those that are attacking us and hurting us, that we are overlooking those others around who are not doing so.
From amongst those that are not attacking, I would look to see from a distance which ones you like, as opposed to who likes you. Then, whenever you're ready (in time, there's no hurry), you can approach the ones you like in a friendly way.
If you were in a room where some people are being mean to someone else, how would you feel? Do you think the person who was being 'attacked' would notice your presence, or only be focussed on his attackers? Would you like to offer some level of kindness to the person being attacked if you could? There are people around who would feel angry because you're being treated that way. Have you ever thought of that?
Perhaps it would help you if you step back and look at EVERYONE in the room, not only the attackers. You would be surprised at what you would find. Take your time. Things will fall in place once you widen YOUR horizons and not focus on your attackers, whom you don't like or respect anyways.
Remember, you exist, don't let them drown you. Remember that other people aside from your attackers exist who might be very good human beings. Expand your world to see beyond and you'll make your life your way, not dictated by attackers.
Remember, not everyone smells a BO sufferer and not everyone is cruel, and there are actually people who hate the emptiness of the attackers and would like to see who you really are and to befriend you.
Be your beautiful sensitive self, for sufferers do develop deep sensitivity. Don't let anyone take that away from you. Don't bury your inner beauty, at the very least, not from yourself.
Always know that we are here for you.
