I didn't know where to post this.... But I am working on a powerpoint on hyperhidrosis and tmau. Both topics in 1 powerpoint. Um.. I wanted to get permission to put in some clip frm Cheryl's may be the video thatwas done on the senses and msybe some of Anne's video frm sweatybetty.com . I also wanted to inlcude the Bill of Rights init which Ben cameup with for the book. I want arun and maria to review my powerpoint. I'm not sure when I will finish it. soon. I also might include some clips friends who have hh if its possible.

Please let me know if you're ok with me using them.

My goal is to give my presentation at my college and the highschool, and elementary, and my church to start of with. Eventuslly burn it to a cd and see if other schools are willing to present it to raise awareness. With the permission of staff.

I think this would be very interesting, we certainly need more videos.

One thing that springs to mind though is the issue of copyright from using any videos from a commercial site. What do you think Maria/ Sharon?

Wow, darknight, this is so impressive! Thank you for wanting to take the time to raise awareness this way.

Concerning copyrights, all you would need to do is to email the people/sites that you want to copy from, and ask them if you can take excerpts from their piece to do your powerpoint. When you explain that your purpose is to raise social awareness, and they would be doing a social service by authorizing you to do so, you would most likely get their approval.

To give you an idea of how willing most people are to help us, I NEVER thought the experts would want to do their presentation for our webinar series when my blog partner suggested it, being that we can't pay them to do it, and that most would probably have to do it on their free time on the weekend. Yet, they all said that they would "BE HAPPY TO HELP"! It practically moved me to tears of joy. It is so comforting to see the support. I bet you, darknight, that if you write for authorization to use excerpts, they will approve.

With the written authorization (email is fine), Arun would probably be very happy to post it in this site, what do you think Arun and Sharon?
